Minecraft cape checker

One username, every cape - worn on that player's skin in 3D.

Look up any Java username to see every cape they wear — the official Mojang cape, OptiFine, MinecraftCapes, LabyMod and more.

Every cape the account wears shows up here as a card — each one wearable on a live 3D model.

Check a player, then pick one of their capes to hang it on their skin and spin it here.

What it checks

  • Every cape source at once. One username is asked of eight providers in a single pass: the official Mojang cape currently equipped on the profile, then OptiFine, MinecraftCapes, LabyMod, TLauncher, 5zig, SkinMC and Cloaks+. NameMC lists only the first of those.
  • The player's own skin underneath. Each cape is draped on the skin that account is actually wearing, so the colours sit together the way they would in game - not on a blank mannequin.

How to use it

  • Type a Java username and hit Check. Every cape that account has shows up as a card; the providers with nothing are listed in one quiet line underneath.
  • Choose a card to spin it. The cape loads into the model on the right - drag to turn it, switch to Elytra to see the same file as wings, stop the spin, or save a snapshot of the pose.
  • Grab the PNG straight off any card to keep the exact texture the provider serves - HD stays HD, animated capes keep their whole frame strip, nothing is resized.
  • Copy the UUID in the strip up top, in whichever of the three shapes - dashed, plain, or the [I;…] array - your command or config wants.

Good to know

  • Some capes stay flat. LabyMod and a few launcher capes use a sheet that does not map onto the vanilla cape box, so those show the image and the PNG but no 3D.
  • Java accounts only. Bedrock capes live in the marketplace and are not served by gamertag from anywhere public, so this is Java Edition.
  • Nothing is uploaded. Your browser asks the public cape and skin services directly; this site never sees the name you type.
  • Want one of your own? Draw a cape in the cape maker, or browse ready-made ones in the cape catalogue.
