Wear a cape on your skin
Your skin, any cape, one live 3D model - try it before you download it.
Pick a cape and a skin on the right to see them together in 3D.
Try before you download
- Any cape fits here. Type the username of a player who wears one, or drop your own file: standard 64×32 sheets, HD multiples and OptiFine’s 46×22 all read correctly.
- Your skin, three ways. Type your username and the current skin comes off the public skin servers; drop a skin PNG; or stay with Steve.
- Check the elytra view too. The same sheet skins the wings - flip the toggle and make sure the design survives before you commit to it.
Good to know
- Nothing is uploaded. Skins and capes are fetched by your browser or read from your disk; the model is rendered on your own device.
- The snapshot saves exactly what the stage shows - drag the model to the angle you want first.
- To actually wear a cape in the game you need a cape mod: MinecraftCapes and similar mods show custom capes to other mod users. Design your own with the cape maker, or check what a player already wears with the cape checker.
